Overview:

Mozbull Pass is a treacherous route through the Ridgeback Mountains, providing the only known pathway from Ridgeback Forest to the Sceel wastelands. For most it exists only in rumors and the paranoia of feeble locals.

Description:

The pass is a narrow, winding trail that cuts through the rugged terrain of the Ridgeback Mountains. The path is lined with steep cliffs and rocky outcrops, with frequent landslides and unpredictable weather adding to its dangers. Despite its perilous nature, the pass offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, particularly for those seeking to escape the hardships of the Sceel Wastelands.

History:

Mozbull Pass is named after the Ork warboss Mozbull, who allegedly discovered it. During the catastrophic Battle of Broken Gate in the Age of Darkness (AoD), Mozbull escaped past Fort Logos and, instead of charging straight into an unwinnable fight in the south, ventured into Ridgeback Forest. In exploring the Ridgeback Mountains, he is believed to have found this strategic pass. Today, rumors suggest that orcs are increasingly using Mozbull Pass to funnel through the mountains, amassing for a potential assault on Agroma.

Significance:

Mozkull Pass holds strategic importance as a hidden route through the Ridgeback Mountains. Its discovery by Mozkull provided the orks with an alternative path, avoiding Fort Logos. Although still considered nothing more than a rumor by many, the potential for an ork assault on Agroma through Mozkull Pass poses a serious threat.

Notable Features:

  • Eagle’s Perch: A high vantage point along the pass offering stunning panoramic views and used as a lookout.
  • The Narrow Way: The most dangerous section of the pass, a thin trail with sheer drops on either side.
  • Cave Shelters: Natural caves along the route providing shelter from the elements and safe havens for travelers.

Local Legends or Stories:

The pass is considered a legend in itself, and were it to be true every section of its treacherous path would serve as fuel for legends and stories.

Visitors’ Experience:

This is not an experience for travelers, this route is only for the desperate.
