Physical Description
- Appearance:
Typhial’s form is a towering marvel, standing as a colossus even in the deepest abysses of the ocean. His presence in human form allows him to stand shoulder-deep amidst the ocean’s most unfathomable depths. His body, composed entirely of water, reflects the tranquil blues and soft greens of a calm sea, shimmering under the filtered sunlight from above. This gentle giant moves with the grace of slow, rolling waves, exuding a soothing presence that belies the immense power he holds.
His features are serene and composed, his eyes, a deep oceanic blue, carry the peaceful depth of still waters, rarely revealing the storms that lie beneath. His hair, flowing and weightless, drifts around his face like sea mist in a gentle breeze. Typhial’s wears a loose fitting robe wate of opaque water, hiding his muscular form.
Typhial’s demeanor is as soothing as the distant horizon on a clear day. He radiates a calm that can pacify the most turbulent waters, his presence alone often enough to quell the unrest in the oceanic realms he oversees. However, when provoked, a dramatic shift overtakes Typhial’s appearance. His once tranquil blue eyes darken to the stormy gray of churning seas, and his calm waters turn turbulent and frothy. The gentle roll of his movements becomes sharp and erratic, mirroring the chaotic energy of a storm surge. This transformation is rare, reserved for moments when his realm is threatened, reflecting his protective nature and dedication to the care of his realm.

Mythology and Worship
- Creation Myth:
As the epochs turned and the age of the elemental gods on Staterum drew to a close, Ooscie, the proud and enduring mother of the seas, prepared to return to her elemental plane. Yet, unlike her siblings, who departed confidently, leaving their well-prepared progeny to steward the realms of Staterum, Ooscie’s heart was heavy with unrest. Her children, gifted and powerful though they were, remained ensnared in ceaseless squabbles, their ambitions clashing like storm waves against the rock.
Recalling her own tribulations in ages past and the guidance she had received from her venerable allies, Eris and Dorna, Ooscie sought their counsel once more. Together these ancient beings had once saved her and given her life purpose in her weakest moments. Now, she implored them to aid in the creation of a new deity, one that could adequately represent the domain of water in her absence.
From the deepest stretches of her vast oceans, Ooscie gathered waters that were most imbued with her divine essence—waters that had seen the birth of the world and would witness its eventual dusk. Eris, approached this divine essence with a sense of purpose and gravity. He provided it shape and form, sculpting the divine body of Typhial with meticulous care. Each line and curve was crafted to convey both strength and serenity, mirroring the dual nature of his future rule. Eris infused this form with the principles of order and leadership, ensuring that Typhial would possess the fortitude and insight necessary to govern a realm as vast and unpredictable as the ocean.
Dorna, ever the harbinger of change and creativity, brought the necessary contrast to Eris’s structure. With a touch as light as a sea breeze yet as profound as the oceanic trenches, Dorna gifted the newly shaped form the spark of change. Breathing life into this vessel, weaving into Typhial’s essence the capacity for creativity and the ability to adapt—traits that would allow him to see beyond the currents of conflict and into the possibilities of peace.
Thus Typhial was born, sovereign of the vast and endless waters that encircled Staterum, ruling all beyond the contentious Mare Sanctum. His realm was not a small fragment of the sea but its immeasurable expanse, where he could guide the infinite waves.
